‘And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.”

- John 4:39

Testimonies

  • God Is My All & All!

I’ve been a part of this home cell ministry from the time of inception. I’ve learned the importance of covenant, relationship and life application according to God’s word.

    - A. Swinton

  • Sacrifice & Giving

Since God lead me to Joshua’s Generation, my entire character has been transformed by the Holy Spirit renewing my mind. This ministry has helped me to deepen my relationship with God by understanding who he is and what this walk really looks like. I thank the Lord for the family he has blessed me with!

    - A. Emmanuel

  • Transparency

I have never learned as much as I have since being a part of this ministry!  Transparency, fellowship and edification have been the keys to the spiritual and natural growth that has taken place within my life.  I witness the fruit of our gatherings each and every day within myself and each other.

    - G. Hamilton

  • Overcoming

Since coming to Joshua’s Generation, I’ve learned that Jesus knows me better than I know myself. Still a daily fight but I’ve seen changes in my life from issues I never considered, to be at the root of so much self hatred. I’m still unlearning but I’m not without hope. I’ve seen the heart of God for his people. He really loves us and wants us to know him at the deepest levels.

    - T. Lee

  • Vulnerability

It is truly a gift to be in a ministry where I am learning how to be vulnerable with others and how to apply what I’m learning to my life. This walk with Jesus isn’t always easy but I have seen the changes in my life and in others which encourages me on the toughest days.

  • Family

Being a part of this ministry has taught me what true family is.  I transitioned from being completely alone with God to being a part of a family. I can literally see what the agape love is all about.

    - B. Valentine

  • Agape Love

For the last 10 years, through watching the Holy Spirit work through Althea, I have been personally observing and witnessing just how much this ministry has been a blessing in my life. I’ve learned people can talk the talk but they don’t walk the walk. Over the years people talk about agape love; I am now learning what true agape love is through this ministry. This ministry has blessed not just me but my entire family.

    - R. Etienne

  • Biblical Application

As a new member of this ministry, I feel embraced, loved, and cared for. The availability of each member to give encouragement and biblical teachings that are always explained in an applicable way. Everything this ministry teaches is and can always be reverted back to the bible and exemplified.

    - B. Jalim

  • Qualified

My hope for those who will one day find themselves a part of this ministry is to learn and accept what I have had the privilege of learning. And that is that the least qualified are the ones God calls by name to learn to abide in Him, accept love through Him, and have faith in Him.

    - T. Delly

  • My Anchor

Being a part of this ministry has taught me that kindness can only be achieved through and by the Holy Spirit. Even in what may seem like the most ordinary moments, you can represent God. In the smallest things, you can receive a blessing; be grateful and thankful for it all. I’ve learned that even in the midst of life’s storms, I am never alone. This ministry is my anchor through Christ Jesus.

    - H. Etienne

  • God Centered Community

Being a part of this ministry has helped me understand the importance of spiritual community. By learning from one another’s experiences and perspectives, I am becoming more well-rounded in my faith. It serves as continued encouragement to remain on the path God has set for me.

  • Follow the Cloud

I didn’t always love God. For a long time, I resisted Him & I even despised Him. I was raised around church, but my home was marked by anger, conflict, & regret; which shaped how I related to God. I didn’t know much then, but I did know He was real, & that was important to me. I’ve made choices that brought real heartache. Still, no matter how lost I was, one thing stayed steady, wherever His Spirit was, I followed. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real. After experiencing many different church environments, I’m seeing Him move in home cell churches like this one, places where people are known, accountable, and genuinely loved. I believe the Spirit is stirring something right now, and I want to follow that cloud.
